All models GMC Terrain are equipped with exclusive On-Star
technology segment, which includes blocking the response system advanced,
hands-free calling, vehicle diagnostics, emergency support services, and six
months of the Directions & Connections plan to guide your hands free. The
system uses advanced sensor response vehicle collision, GPS and a digital cell
phone to call emergency services in case of a serious accident or moderate,
even when the occupants are not able to. Path connections and technology
provides support for voice commands and a route guidance ENAV service that
allows drivers to keep their eyes on the road and hands on the wheel.

Both the standard 2.4-liter Ecotec, 3.0-liter V-6 is
available in the public arena GMC fuel-saving direct injection and continuously
variable timing technology.
Standard 2.4l Ecotec direct injected I-4 engine produces 182
hp (136 kW) and best segment fuel economy of 32 mpg highway (FWD version) and
up to 600 km of highway just cruising range fuel tank. E85 FlexFuel vehicles
feature is available in the Federal emissions.

Available 3.0L direct injection V-6 engine is rated at 264
horsepower (197 kW) with fuel economy EPA-estimated 24 mpg (FWD version). On vehicles
with emissions from the federal government, the engine can run on E85, regular
unleaded fuel or a combination of both. E85 ethanol is made from renewable
plant material and helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and oil
consumption.

Star dard four disc brakes with ABS with electronic brake
force, Stabili-Trak electronic stability control, traction control and rollover
mitigation. Stabili-Trak electronic stability control with traction control and
rollover mitigation is designed to enhance vehicle stability on most surfaces,
especially in emergency makeovers. Traffic lights are most visible way for
other motorists and pedestrians. Standard rear vision camera helps the driver
to detect objects behind the car. A solid structure includes strategic
applications of high-strength steel to protect occupants in a crash. Tire
pressure monitoring system. Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision
Warning is only available in the SLT-2 with V-6.
2012 GMC Terrain Improvements include an
internal standard player with 7 inch touch screen, high definition color screen
to control the stereo AM / FM / XM CD player and MP3 player. Intellilink is now
available and allows integration Smartphone. Ecotec 2.4-liter adds E85 flex
fuel f4cylinder in later versions which expected in 2012.
